Sobre este puesto de Lead Software Engineer en Commonware
What is Exoware?
Exoware is the managed infrastructure offering built around Commonware, an open-source framework for high-performance decentralized systems.
The software powering Exoware largely exists in alpha form. Now we need to build the production environment around it.
We’re looking for an experienced systems builder to make that happen.
The Role
Think of it as building the machine that runs the machine.
You’ll build the systems required to deploy, scale, monitor, secure, and recover Exoware in production. That includes infrastructure automation as well as writing software to drive that automation.
There’s no mature production environment to inherit. The initial approach will be cloud-first and pragmatic, using proven systems where they make sense.
What You’ll Work On
Build Exoware’s production environment from the ground up.
Automate deployment, scaling, upgrades, and recovery.
Build CI/CD, monitoring, telemetry, and operational tooling.
Design for data safety, availability, and security.
Work across Kubernetes, ECS, cloud services, and related infrastructure.
Write software that improves how Exoware is deployed and operated.
Feed production insights back into the underlying software.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ve built production infrastructure for real systems at a meaningful scale.
You’re the kind of engineer who wants someone to hand you software and say: make this run reliably.
Relevant experience includes:
Greenfield production infrastructure
Distributed or stateful systems
Cloud infrastructure and orchestration
Kubernetes, ECS, or similar systems
CI/CD and deployment automation
Observability, reliability, and recovery
Networking, storage, or systems software
We need a builder who is comfortable writing code, making architectural decisions, and creating the production environment rather than inheriting one.
