We are looking for an experienced Lead Analyst – Marketplace Advertising & Growth to manage a portfolio of client accounts while leading a team of marketplace advertising professionals. The role combines marketplace strategy, performance advertising, client management, team leadership, budget ownership, and growth planning across India's leading ecommerce and quick-commerce platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Amazon Ads, along with experience across Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, and quick-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for translating marketplace and advertising data into actionable strategies that improve revenue, efficiency, visibility, and return on advertising spend.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketplace advertising strategies across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, and quick-commerce platforms.
• Manage and optimise Amazon Ads campaigns with a focus on revenue growth, efficiency, and ROAS.
• Identify opportunities to scale marketplace performance while maintaining advertising efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3–6 analysts/media buyers.
• Allocate accounts and ensure day-to-day campaign execution aligns with client objectives.
• Own client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for marketplace performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and translate data into clear growth strategies and action plans.
• Plan and manage monthly advertising budgets, revenue targets, and ROAS goals.
• Analyse marketplace performance to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare accounts for major seasonal periods, promotional campaigns, and marketplace sale events.
• Use category benchmarks, organic-share drivers, conversion rates, and market insights to develop marketplace strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve conversion rate, organic visibility, advertising efficiency, and overall marketplace growth.
• Conduct market and category research to support account strategy and business planning.
• Collaborate with Strategy and Business Development teams on pitches and prospective client discussions.
• Provide marketplace expertise and performance insights during new-business conversations.
• Monitor team performance and ensure consistent quality, execution, and delivery across assigned accounts.
• Stay updated on marketplace advertising trends, platform developments, consumer behaviour, and emerging quick-commerce opportunities.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of hands-on marketplace advertising experience working with Indian brands.
• Strong practical expertise in Amazon Ads and marketplace performance marketing.
• Working experience with Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, and quick-commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, or Swiggy Instamart.
• At least 1 year of experience managing a team of 3+ people.
• Proven experience managing and optimising large advertising budgets.
• Strong understanding of marketplace revenue, ROAS, campaign efficiency, and performance optimisation.
• Good understanding of organic-share drivers, conversion rate optimisation, seasonal planning, category benchmarking, and market research.
• Strong analytical ability with a habit of using data and first-principles thinking to solve marketplace growth challenges.
• Excellent client-management and relationship-building skills.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, delegation, and team-management capabilities.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on campaign execution.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of ecommerce and marketplace business models.
• Experience with Google Ads and Meta campaigns is an advantage.
• Engineering or MBA background is an advantage.
• Highly organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ambitious growth and performance objectives.
