The Opportunity

The Land Rights Management team within the Canada Land Department is seeking a Land Analyst based in Calgary. Reporting to the Manager, Land Rights Management, the successful candidate will support the administration and management of TC Energy's operational land rights portfolio across Canada.

This role is primarily responsible for land data and road use management, stakeholder support, and the processing of operational land requests. The ideal candidate brings strong land administration experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Enter and update land records, including road use agreements, in the Pandell land management system
• Audit files turned over to Operations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Acquiring permanent land rights (freehold and crown) as required for operational purposes
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to solution complex land right items
• Register and discharge encumbrances on title
• Provide guidance and support to Land Service Providers
• Review and process third-party requests, including road use requests
• Payment processing, including road use invoices
• Perform tasks with limited oversight and resolve issues using established guidelines, procedures and policies, within level of accountability
• Support or lead land-related projects or initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• 7 or more years of experience in surface land administration, including road use
• University degree or diploma in Land Administration or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with land system
• Previous work experience at a Land Service Provider is considered an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, and Excel
• Sound knowledge of land registry procedures
• Knowledge of AER and CER legislative and regulatory requirements
