Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology (Professor Andrew Hendry)
Position Summary:
- Assists with the measurement of lab specimens.
- Assists with organizing and maintaining lab specimens.
- Assists with maintaining lab databases.
- Organizes various supplies and equipment for the lab.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
- Knowledge of maintaining lab collections.
- Knowledge of measuring sticklebacks.
Education/Experience:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at McGill.
- Must have taken the "Rapid Evolution in the Anthropocene" course given at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre.
Location: This position is located in Montreal, Quebec and the work for this position is expected to be performed in Quebec.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (4) qualifier on a scale of 0-4.
