Preferred Period of Internship Required: January 2027 - June/July 2027
Preferred School/Course of Intern: Undergraduate students from Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences, Food Sciences and related disciplines.
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern to assist the NPD Wellness team in delivering innovation projects for Haleon Consumer Health R&D. The Intern will work under the supervision of the NPD Principal Scientist- Wellness and collaborate with other functions such as Commercial, Innovation, Manufacturing, Medical, Regulatory, Insights and R&D Scientists to provide appropriate and timely input into our R&D projects.
Responsibilities:
You will be required to:
- Perform comprehensive, sophisticated and critical evaluation of technical data during product development phase.
- Coordinate discussion and close collaboration with cross functional teams and successfully integrate their inputs to charted key NPD milestone.
- Preparation of technical reports/ presentations.
- Assist NPD-Wellness team in create technical and product understanding research plans to fit overall project deliverables.,
- Supports the team with other miscellaneous product related project/ development activities when required.

Throughout the course of the internship, you will attain the following learning objectives:
- Learn about strategic product development with exposure to strategic NPD planning process and what it takes to launch a product in the market.
- Acquire a strong technical understanding on the requirements to deliver innovation.
- Gain hands-on in-depth analytical skills by researching, analyzing and reviewing technical data information.
- Serve as the voice of the consumer when developing innovation opportunities.
- Exposure to highly matrixed environment and experience of partnering with different functional teams.

- Educational background – Degree in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Engineering or related sciences such as Food Science.
- Language proficiency in both verbal and written English.

- Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment

- A keen interest in consumer healthcare science, product and development, and a passion for knowledge
