As a Marketing Analytics Intern, you will work hands-on with web analytics platforms (GA4 and Amplitude) to turn raw data into insights that shape real marketing decisions. You will partner directly with marketing stakeholders across channels, advising on campaign strategy and helping the team understand what is working, what is not, and why. This role is highly autonomous: you will be trusted to own your work, and you will have room to take on a big stretch project in marketing or analytics that you can present to the team by the end of your internship.
What You'll Own
- Web Analytics. Gather, clean, and analyze web data for the marketing teams that drive traffic to our site (paid, email, social, SEO, and partnerships). Track traffic, engagement, and conversion trends, and translate what you find into clear, actionable recommendations.
- End-to-End Analysis. Connect marketing spend to results. Identify overperforming and underperforming campaigns, segment audiences, and dig into the small details (landing pages, funnel drop-offs, device or channel differences) that make a big impact. You will take an analysis from question to data to insight to recommendation.
- Dashboards and Reporting. Help build dashboards in Amplitude or Power BI so stakeholders can see results immediately and self-serve answers without waiting on an ad hoc request.
- Stakeholder Consulting. Meet with marketing partners to understand their goals, define success metrics, and recommend how to improve campaign performance and measurement.
- Stretch Project. Pick up and drive a larger initiative of your choosing, such as an attribution analysis, A/B test readout, customer journey study, or a new reporting framework, and share the results with the broader team.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with web analytics platforms such as GA4, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent (coursework, projects, or prior internships count).
- Experience working with fragmented data from multiple sources and combining it into a single, trustworthy view.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling, and clear charting).
- Nice to have: SQL and/or Python for querying, cleaning, and analyzing data.
- A curious mindset and a genuine desire to understand user behavior through data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain findings to non-technical audiences and tell a clear story with data.
- Interest in data, marketing, and UI/UX, and how they come together to shape the customer experience.
- Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, asks good questions, and manages their own time.
What You'll Gain
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard analytics and BI tools.
- Real ownership of work that influences live marketing campaigns and budget decisions.
- Regular exposure to marketing and analytics leaders, plus mentorship throughout the internship.
- A portfolio-ready project and the experience of presenting insights to stakeholders.
