What Manufacturing Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health

Engineering is responsible for providing technical expertise in support of a broad range of activities within a medical device manufacturing environment. This role supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of production systems involving different material-processing and assembly technologies.


Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineering plans and executes engineering projects and sustaining initiatives requiring manufacturing and specialized technical expertise, while leading cross-functional teams supporting key plant initiatives. Also designs process improvements to reduce product cost, process cycle time and improved product quality.

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• 2-4 years of experience in a highly regulated industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field required.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1),
• Experience leading projects and supporting cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives within production environments.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners.
• Results-oriented, with a demonstrated record of accomplishments.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities.
• Experience with data analysis and project management.
