Sobre este puesto de Head of Demand Generation en Pattern
We need a Head of Demand Generation to build and scale the paid, programmatic, and AI-powered engine that drives pipeline and revenue for Pattern. You’ll own multi-channel demand strategy from paid search and social to programmatic, retail media, and emerging AI-driven acquisition tactics and turn data into growth. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, UT.
What is a day in the life of a Head of Demand Generation?
Build and execute a multi-channel demand generation strategy across paid search, paid social, programmatic, retail media, and emerging AI-driven acquisition channels
Own the demand gen budget, allocating spend across channels based on performance data and reallocating in real time to maximize pipeline and revenue
Partner with the Head of Product Marketing to align campaign messaging, positioning, and launch timing with the broader go-to-market strategy
Evaluate and implement AI tools for campaign optimization, audience targeting, creative testing, and personalization at scale
Partner with the Director of Marketing Technology and Development to build automated lead scoring, nurture, and attribution workflows across the MarTech stack
Analyze full-funnel performance data — CAC, ROAS, MQL-to-SQL conversion, pipeline velocity — to double down on what’s working and cut what isn’t
Lead, coach, and grow a team of demand gen specialists and channel managers
What will I need to thrive in this role?
Deep, hands-on expertise across paid channels: Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic/display, and retail media with a track record of scaling spend profitably
Working knowledge of how to apply AI and machine learning tools to campaign optimization, creative production, personalization, and predictive targeting
Fluency in marketing analytics and attribution (GA4, multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling) and comfort making budget calls from the data
Experience with a modern MarTech stack (marketing automation, CRM, ABM platforms) and the ability to partner closely with marketing technology teams
Proven ability to manage a multi-million dollar paid media budget across multiple channels simultaneously
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
What does high performance look like?
Pipeline and revenue targets are consistently hit or exceeded, with CAC and ROAS improving quarter over quarter
New channels, tools, and AI applications are tested methodically, with clear before/after data backing every scaling decision
Campaign performance is communicated proactively and clearly to the CMO and cross-functional partners, with no surprises at quarter’s end
The demand gen team operates with increasing autonomy and ownership as processes and playbooks mature
What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?
First 30 days: Learn Pattern’s brand portfolio, current demand gen stack, channel mix, and reporting cadence. Meet with the CMO, Head of Product Marketing, Director of Marketing Technology and Development, Creative Director, and Director of Event Marketing to understand priorities and dependencies. Audit current paid channel performance and identify quick wins.
First 60 days: Launch the first round of campaign optimizations and at least one AI-powered pilot (e.g., AI-assisted creative testing or audience modeling). Present a channel investment plan to the CMO with reallocation recommendations backed by data.
First 90 days: Own a documented demand gen strategy and budget plan for the next two quarters. Deliver a measurable improvement in at least one core metric (CAC, ROAS, or pipeline volume). Begin building out the team structure needed to scale.
