We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head HR to lead the organisation’s human resources function and build scalable people practices aligned with business growth. The role will have broad responsibility across HR strategy, compliance, policy, employee relations, talent management, organisational development, compensation, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in building and managing HR functions within complex and growing organisations, with particular strength in HR compliance, policy development, governance, and ESOP administration. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong business understanding, sound judgement, and the ability to partner effectively with leadership and employees.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall HR strategy in alignment with business goals and organisational growth.
- Lead the complete HR function covering talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, learning, retention, and employee relations.
- Develop, implement, and periodically review comprehensive HR policies and procedures.
- Establish strong HR governance and ensure consistent implementation of policies across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, employment regulations, statutory requirements, and HR governance standards.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and ensure timely updates to policies and processes.
- Lead employee relations initiatives and handle complex workplace issues, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Partner with leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
- Design and oversee performance management and career development frameworks.
- Develop compensation and benefits strategies aligned with business requirements and market practices.
- Lead the administration and governance of ESOP/equity compensation programs, including documentation, employee communication, and coordination with Finance and Legal teams.
- Strengthen HR systems, processes, documentation, reporting, and employee data governance.
- Establish HR metrics and dashboards to provide leadership with actionable people insights.
- Drive employee engagement, culture-building, leadership development, and retention initiatives.
- Build and mentor a high-performing HR team and establish clear ownership across HR functions.
- Manage external HR consultants, legal advisors, payroll partners, and other service providers where required.
- Support senior leadership with HR due diligence, organisational changes, restructuring, and strategic people initiatives.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience in senior HR leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading HR strategy and operations for growing or complex organisations.
- Strong expertise in HR compliance, labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR governance.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive HR policies.
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and talent development.
- Hands-on experience managing or administering ESOP/equity compensation programs.
- Strong ability to partner with founders, CXOs, senior leadership, and functional heads.
- Experience managing organisational change, restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgement.
- Experience building and mentoring HR teams and establishing scalable HR processes.
- Strong understanding of HR technology, HRIS, payroll, people analytics, and digital HR practices.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced business environment.
- A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
