THE ROLE
Everpure is seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead a team developing and supporting high-performance storage systems. This role oversees the full hardware lifecycle, from design through production and customer support. The ideal candidate is a strong technical and people leader who can set direction, deliver results, and collaborate across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of hardware engineers.
- Set technical direction and execution plans for complex compute, storage, networking, and I/O systems.
- Own team delivery across architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, eDVT, qualification, failure analysis, and production release.
- Harden and evolve hardware validation and qualification strategies, including automated testing, system stress testing, and coverage reviews.
- Drive root-cause and failure-analysis efforts for internal issues and customer escalations, ensuring corrective actions improve product robustness.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Test, Quality, and JDM/OEM partners to transition new hardware subsystems into production.
- Build scalable engineering processes, automation, documentation standards, and “Quality by Design” practices.
- Hire and retain top hardware engineering talent while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate program status, risks, tradeoffs, and resource needs clearly to engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with either:
- Masters with 5+ years of professional work experience.
- Bachelors with 7+ years of professional work experience
- 3+ years as a Hardware Engineering Manager
- Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, or leading hardware engineering teams.
- Strong background in hardware design, x86 architectures, networking, high-speed interfaces, and system-level integration.
- Experience architecting or supporting complex systems involving compute, storage, networking, and I/O.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and electrical validation.
- Experience qualifying CPUs, DDR memory, NICs, SSDs, power supplies, voltage-regulator circuits, and other system components.
- Experience defining and automating hardware qualification processes.
- Experience working with diagnostics engineers and providing technical direction on test coverage and validation strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational judgment, analytical skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in hyperscale, enterprise hardware, storage, server, or networking environments preferred.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
