The Role and Impact The Graduate Talent Program provides an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world industry challenges while gaining hands-on experience in software development, data engineering, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions. As a Software Application Development Engineer, you will work with a cross-functional Agile team to design, develop, test, and enhance enterprise applications and data-driven solutions. You will have opportunities to work with modern technologies involving Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, AI, Vector Databases, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agentic AI workflows, while learning how these technologies are applied to solve real business and engineering problems at scale. If you enjoy building software, working with data, experimenting with emerging AI technologies, and continuously looking for better ways to solve problems, we would like to hear from you. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications, data solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities. - Develop and maintain data pipelines and data engineering workflows to enable analytics and AI use cases. - Work with data warehouses and modern data platforms to organize, transform, and make data accessible for downstream applications. - Explore and implement solutions using Vector Databases, MCP, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI workflows. - Develop automation and improve the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of applications and data solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and improve business and engineering processes. - Participate in Agile development practices, including design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support. - Document architectures, processes, tools, and solutions to promote effective knowledge sharing. - Continuously learn and experiment with emerging technologies in software engineering, data engineering, and AI.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline.
- Good foundation in software engineering and application development.
- Knowledge of Data Engineering, including data ingestion, transformation, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT concepts.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, data modeling, and analytical data structures.
- Familiarity with AI/Generative AI concepts and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Understanding of Vector Databases and vector-based information retrieval.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its use in AI-enabled applications.
- Understanding of Agentic AI workflows, including the use of AI agents, tools, and multi-step workflows.
- Experience or knowledge of MEAN stack or similar modern web application development technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse, global teams.
- Eagerness to learn, experiment, and adapt in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices and IT service management concepts.
- Open to a minimum one-year contract-based role.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Programming experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, or similar languages.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-native application development.
- Experience building data pipelines or working with structured and unstructured datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or LLM-based applications.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, APIs, containers, or modern software development practices.
