What You’ll Do:
• Analyze security events, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence to assess risk and develop recommendations for mitigation and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate cybersecurity controls, policies, and procedures and contribute to initiatives that enhance enterprise security capabilities.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to strengthen organizational resilience.
• Design, develop, or enhance security automation solutions using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to identify security risks and implement effective controls.
• Integrate security best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and support security tooling within CI/CD environments.
• Analyze identity and access management processes and contribute to the design and improvement of access governance and security controls.
• Participate in strategic projects across multiple cybersecurity domains, gaining exposure to enterprise security operations, engineering, governance, risk management, and emerging technologies.
• Own and deliver assigned cybersecurity objectives, work products, and recommendations with guidance from experienced cybersecurity professionals while demonstrating increasing independence throughout the program.
What We’re Looking For:
• A recent graduate within the last 12 months with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical information, identify risks, and develop practical recommendations to address cybersecurity challenges.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage multiple priorities, and work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week at the assigned McKesson location.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
