Role Summary

The Commercial Product Supply Specialist, Senior Associate, executes sourcing and supply activities for non-Pfizer commercial products and comparators supporting analytical development and clinical studies. Working under the guidance of Supply Chain Leads and within established procedures, the role coordinates assigned demand from initiation through completion, maintains accurate planning and financial information, and works with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support timely, compliant, and cost-effective product supply. The Senior Associate resolves routine operational issues, provides recommendations based on available information, and escalates significant risks or decisions to the appropriate lead.

Role Responsibilities

• Execute assigned procurement activities for non-Pfizer commercial products and comparators, progressing demand from request initiation through sourcing, delivery, release, completion, or disposition in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate demand records, milestones, entries, and forecasts in Clementine to support operational planning and supply continuity for assigned products.
• Support Supply Chain Leads and study stakeholders by gathering product requirements and providing sourcing information for local, central, or hybrid sourcing assessments.
• Research, compile, and communicate sourcing information, including product availability, pack configuration, pricing, cost estimates, lead times, documentation requirements, and other study-readiness considerations.
• Support the execution of approved supply plans by coordinating assigned activities, monitoring timelines, and identifying potential cost, availability, or delivery risks.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and supporting documentation, including CP102 justifications, in alignment with Procurement requirements and established business controls.
• Coordinate routine activities with global suppliers, monitor delivery and service performance, follow up on open actions, and escalate significant quality, supply, cost, or timeline risks to the appropriate lead.
• Participate as a contributing member of Clinical Study Teams and cross-functional project teams, providing sourcing updates and operational input for assigned studies and products.
• Track spend, update assigned financial forecasts, and maintain current risk information to support accurate reporting and portfolio visibility.
• Work collaboratively with Global Clinical Supply, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Clinical Research Pharmacy, and other partners to coordinate compliant and timely supply activities.
• Complete assigned logistics activities, including uploading documentation to GDMS, supporting international shipments, and assisting with the documentation and follow-up of temperature excursions and product recalls in accordance with approved procedures and functional guidance.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying process gaps, sharing observations, and supporting implementation of approved workflow or digital-tool improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, sourcing, clinical supply, or a related operational function.
• Experience supporting sourcing, procurement, or supply chain activities, including gathering information, coordinating supply requirements, and executing assigned activities within established plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners.
• Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple assigned activities, monitor timelines, and support cross-functional work.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to resolve routine issues and escalate matters outside established processes or decision authority.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while adapting to changing priorities and maintaining quality, compliance, and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work across supply chain, procurement, quality, regulatory, clinical, and other functional areas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced coursework, certification, or specialized training in project management, supply chain, business administration, or a scientific or clinical discipline.
• Experience supporting clinical supply operations, comparator sourcing, procurement, or pharmaceutical supply chain activities.
• Experience working in a global, regulated environment and supporting clinical trial operations, documentation requirements, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience using demand planning, procurement, document management, or financial tracking systems, including Clementine, SAP/Ariba, or GDMS.
• Working knowledge of good distribution practices, temperature excursion management, recalls, or international shipment coordination.

Other Job Description Information

• This is a hybrid position based onsite at the Pfizer Costa Rica (The Village) site. Colleagues assigned to a Pfizer site have flexible work arrangements, averaging 2.5 days on-site per week.

Non-Standard Work Schedule, Travel, or Environment Requirements

• Must be available for periodic meetings with global teams across multiple time zones, including outside regular business hours.
• Some travel (~10%) may be required to other Pfizer sites.
