The work:
The Full Stack Developer will be a part of an agile software development team and integral in performing software development, O&M support, and adhere to agile methodology and scrum ceremonies. This role will design and implement backed APIs using Java and Spring Boot, design and build secure and responsive UIs using React, and develop optimized PostgreSQL schemas and queries. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong verbal and written skills, experiences with the technology and business tools listed below, and will have proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise applications from concept through deployment.
You will:
- Provide full-stack design and development support using Java, Spring Model View Controller (MVC) Framework/Spring Security/Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
- Design and implement modern UI components using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and reusable design patterns.
- Implement normalized PostgreSQL schemas and entity
Here's what you need:
- Active Top Secret Clearance and willingness to work onsite in Washington, DC
- Experience developing multiple web applications in production using Java, Javascript or dynamic languages (e.g. Grails, Ruby on Rails)
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Java-based MVC frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Jersey etc.) and/or minimum 2 years of experience with Javascript/Mobile frameworks (e.g.Angular (2+), AngularJS (1.4+), KnockoutJS, NodeJS, Ionic, Express, ReactJS etc.)
- Proven experience using HTML5/CSS3 in multiple responsive web applications
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
- Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs
- Consuming data via service integration (i.e. REST and/or SOAP APIs)
- Developing for Section 508 and WCAG 2.x compliance
- CI/CD processes and tools including Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube
- Experience with MEAN/DEAN (Mongo/Dynamo, Express, Angular, Node) stack

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
