As an FP&A - Senior Associate, you will engage in financial strategy and planning, providing crucial insights and analysis to optimize financial performance and guide strategic decision-making. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will leverage your skills to support Finance Leaders and business stakeholders with financial insight, planning, and analysis. This role involves interpreting monthly results, monitoring performance against KPIs, and identifying risks and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

As a Senior Associate, you will develop meaningful stakeholder connections and guide others, using your skills to navigate complex situations and deliver quality work. You will be responsible for analyzing complex problems, mentoring others, and maintaining professional standards. This role emphasizes relationship building and managing others, while also focusing on personal growth and navigating complexity.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will support strategic decision-making through financial insight, planning, and analysis while building relationships with senior stakeholders across the business. You will provide P&L management support, ad hoc financial analysis, revenue and cost forecasting, budgeting, and forward-looking reporting, all while assisting with complex engagement activities and supporting financial control and compliance.

Job Description

This opportunity offers the chance to join PwC Acceleration Center India in a Finance business partnering role, supporting strategic decision-making through financial insight, planning and analysis while building relationships with senior stakeholders across the business. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Support and challenge Finance Leaders and business stakeholders with financial insight, planning and analysis to inform strategic decision-making. 
• Provide P&L management support, ad hoc financial analysis, revenue and cost forecasting, budgeting and forward-looking reporting. 
• Interpret monthly results, monitor performance against KPIs, and identify risks and opportunities. 
• Develop actions with senior decision makers to mitigate, correct or exploit financial performance risks and opportunities. 
• Support financial control and compliance by providing accounting advice and sharing local financial risk knowledge. 
• Assist with complex engagement activities, including revenue recognition, forecasting and performance variance analysis. 

Role requirements: 

•  At least 4-9 years of experience 
• Oral and written proficiency in English required, with strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills 
• Progression towards an accounting qualification with a relevant global body such as CIMA or ACCA 

Able to demonstrate application of accounting standards, including IFRS 15
