We’re looking for a talented individual to…

 

Serve as the finance partner for our business unit (approximately $20M portfolio) in Laval, Quebec. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role and will work directly with leadership, balancing deep financial execution with the influence to challenge and guide business decisions.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting, aligned with enterprise methodology and systems.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business and financial reviews (MBR, MFR, QBR, QFR) to leadership and executives.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support business decisions.
  • Push back constructively and tell the story behind the numbers to gain operational buy-in.
  • Build financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for investments, proposals, and pricing.
  • Establish accountability for forecast accuracy and budget management through disciplined review.
  • Introduce and improve planning processes, reporting tools, and data quality in collaboration with Finance, Accounting, and Operations.
  • Learn and use Adaptive, Workday, and Office Connect.

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: MBA; CPA, CMA, FP&A, or other relevant accounting credential.
  • Fluent in both English and French (native-level in both French and English), written and spoken is a must.
  • Based in Quebec and able to work on-site at the Laval office at least 3 days per week.
  • 7-10 years of relevant finance experience. Prior team leadership is a plus but not required.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience partnering with leadership teams, including the confidence to push back at the executive level.
  • Experience owning the budget, forecast, and reporting cycle for a function or business unit.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Quick learner of new systems. Experience with Adaptive, Workday, or Office Connect is an asset.
  • Ability to balance hands-on analysis with influencing and communicating with stakeholders.

 

Targeted Compensation:  

$52-$62/h (equivalent to approximately $108,160-$128,960) annually based on a 40-hour work week)

Vos responsabilités:

  • Piloter les processus de budgétisation, de prévision, de planification et de reporting, en conformité avec la méthodologie et les systèmes de l'entreprise.
  • Préparer et présenter les revues mensuelles et trimestrielles des activités et des résultats financiers (MBR, MFR, QBR, QFR) à la direction et aux cadres supérieurs.
  • Collaborer avec la direction pour évaluer la performance, identifier les risques et les opportunités, et soutenir la prise de décision.
  • Exprimer des points de vue divergents de manière constructive et expliquer le contexte derrière les chiffres pour obtenir l'adhésion des équipes opérationnelles.
  • Élaborer des modèles financiers, des analyses de scénarios et des analyses de rentabilité (business cases) pour les investissements, les propositions commerciales et la tarification.
  • Assurer la responsabilité de la fiabilité des prévisions et de la gestion budgétaire grâce à des revues rigoureuses.
  • Mettre en place et améliorer les processus de planification, les outils de reporting et la qualité des données, en collaboration avec les services Finance, Comptabilité et Opérations.
  • Apprendre à utiliser et maîtriser les logiciels Adaptive, Workday et Office Connect.

 

Votre profil:

  • Baccalauréat dans un domaine pertinent ou combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience.
  • Atouts : MBA, titre de CPA, CMA, FP&A ou autre certification comptable pertinente.
  • Maîtrise courante de l'anglais et du français (français langue maternelle, anglais d'un excellent niveau), à l'oral comme à l'écrit (indispensable).
  • Basé(e) au Québec et capable de travailler sur site au bureau de Laval au moins 3 jours par semaine.
  • 7 à 10 ans d'expérience pertinente en finance. Une expérience préalable en gestion d'équipe constitue un atout, sans être obligatoire.
  • Solide sens financier et expérience de collaboration avec des équipes de direction, incluant l'assurance nécessaire pour contester des décisions au niveau de la haute direction.
  • Expérience dans la gestion complète du cycle budgétaire, des prévisions et du reporting pour une fonction ou une unité d'affaires.
  • Maîtrise avancée d'Excel.
  • Capacité à assimiler rapidement de nouveaux systèmes. Une expérience avec Adaptive, Workday ou Office Connect constitue un atout.
  • Capacité à concilier le travail d'analyse pratique avec l'influence et la communication auprès des parties prenantes.

 

Rémunération visée:

52$ à 62$ de l'heure (équivalant à environ 108 160$ ​​– 128 960$ par an, sur la base d'une semaine de travail de 40 heures).
