Provides support in the functional areas of clerical , clinical and business under the direct supervision of a Provider.Job Description:
Provides support in the functional areas of clerical , clinical and business under the direct supervision of a Provider.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assists in conducting clinical care activities under the direction of a provider.
- Performs clinical duties such as: Setting up for and assisting providers during examinations and procedures Assisting with dressing changes Facilitating patient flow
- Obtains and accurately records clinical data, including: Vital signs Height Weight
- Cleans instruments and patient treatment areas as needed.
- Stocks examination and treatment rooms with appropriate medical supplies.
- Conducts phlebotomy as assigned and collects and prepares laboratory specimens.
- Performs administrative duties, including: Answering telephone inquiries Organizing patient charts Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of patient medical records
- Transports patients to other hospital departments as necessary.
- Calls in prescriptions as directed by the provider.
- Schedules pre-admission appointments and diagnostic testing as needed.
Requirements:
- High School or GED
- For hires after 11/28/2011: CMA/RMA/CCMA certification/registration required or within 6 months of hire OR credentialed through a formal training program that includes testing of knowledge
- BLS within 6 months of hire

Pay Range:
$19.13 - $27.46The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
