The Forbes Branded Content Studio has an opportunity for a creative, well-connected, highly organized video storytelling leader to help take our video product suite to a new plateau. The Executive Producer would serve as the Studio’s video conductor, implementing industry-leading creative vision and execution, catalyzing premium-grade internal efficiencies, ensuring five-star satisfaction from our client partners and growing the business exponentially.
Responsibilities
Working within the Studio’s award-winning creative and operational playbook, the Executive Producer would:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Studio editors and designers and other teams to develop pitch-winning branded video concepts in pre-sale, supercharging our pipeline and delivering rapid results
- Recruit, hire and direct the best crews in the business from pre-to-post-production ensuring Forbes’ ability to win and deliver the highest quality branded video for our audience and clients
- In partnership with the Forbes Video team, supervise all details of branded video programs to ensure Forbes’ and the Studio’s standards are met from kickoff to wrap
- Develop and refine internal systems to transform branded video programs into a highly efficient operation, radically reducing workloads for other teams across the entire organization
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Social, Audience Development and other relevant Forbes teams to optimize performance for video distribution wherever our audiences are (e.g. YouTube, Social, etc.) and translate data into actionable creative adjustments
- Lead product and pricing strategy in collaboration with Studio and other Revenue team leadership to ensure Forbes offers a highly competitive product lineup that delivers client value and high ROI for Forbes
- Closely follow industry trends on formats, style, franchises and other elements to help position Forbes in the vanguard of branded video
The ideal candidate
- 7-10 years of branded video experience, preferably at a publisher
- Demonstrated accomplishments across all of the listed Primary Responsibilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Frame.io and Rev with a keen eye for emerging AI tools and workflows
- Ability to deftly balance creative, technical, operational and leadership responsibilities
- Wide open mind for learning, growing and collaborating with colleagues and clients from all disciplines and backgrounds
- World-class organization and communication skills
- NYC area preferred
The annual base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000
