The Company
Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.
Meet the team:
Dexcom’s Global IT Integrations team connects the systems and business processes that help the company operate at scale. As part of the Integrations Center of Excellence, the Integrations Support team protects continuity, quality, scalability, and standards across business-critical integration services. In this role, you will combine hands-on production support with monitoring, incident response, compliance, runbook ownership, and continuous improvement. You will work across global teams to restore service quickly, reduce repeat issues, and make support increasingly proactive and automated.
Where you come in:
- You monitor and support production integrations, APIs, event streams, scheduled interfaces, microservices, connectors, and cloud-based integration services across business-critical platforms.
- You investigate alerts, logs, failed transactions, performance degradation, and service interruptions; assess impact; and drive issues through resolution with clear, timely communication.
- You participate in incident and major-incident response, coordinating with the Incident Operations Center, application teams, engineering teams, infrastructure, security, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- You safely execute operational recovery activities such as transaction reprocessing, connector or service restarts, consumer-offset recovery, and pause/resume procedures by following approved runbooks, access controls, and change processes.
- You create, tune, and maintain observability in Datadog and related tools, including failure, throughput, dependency, and radio-silence monitoring that identifies conditions before they become larger business disruptions.
- You create and maintain support runbooks, escalation paths, monitoring instructions, known-error guidance, and operational handoff materials within the ICoE knowledge base.
- You support releases, maintenance windows, cutovers, upgrades, hypercare, and production validation, confirming that integrations recover successfully and that issues are recorded and followed through.
- You analyze recurring errors and operational trends, document root causes and corrective actions, and partner with engineering teams to improve resilience, retry behavior, error handling, and data quality.
- You perform assigned SOX and ISO 27001 support activities, including evidence collection, access reviews, application health and risk assessments, asset or control documentation, and timely completion of compliance tasks.
- You automate repetitive support activities using scripting and standardized workflows, helping reduce manual effort, human error, and time to restore service.
What makes you successful:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- You have 3+ years of relevant experience on the qualifications stated below.
- You have strong production-support discipline and can troubleshoot complex, distributed integration flows from source through middleware to downstream systems.
- You have practical experience with REST APIs, JSON or XML payloads, event-driven integration, message brokers, logs, and transaction tracing.
- You bring hands-on experience with one or more integration technologies such as Kafka or Confluent, Oracle Integration Cloud, Apigee, cloud-hosted microservices, or enterprise API platforms.
- You are comfortable using observability and service-management tools such as Datadog and ServiceNow to detect, document, communicate, and resolve operational issues.
- You understand containerized and cloud environments and can navigate Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, deployment views, and service health indicators to support diagnosis and recovery.
- You communicate clearly during incidents, ask effective diagnostic questions, document evidence, and maintain composure while coordinating multiple technical and business stakeholders.
- You demonstrate end-to-end ownership, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safe changes, validated procedures, security, audit readiness, and reliable customer outcomes.
- You can write or improve operational scripts and are willing to learn the tools and business processes required to automate repeatable support work.
- Your experience with Oracle EBS or Fusion, Salesforce, manufacturing systems, warehouse or order-management systems, Veeva, or other enterprise applications is a plus.
- Your relevant certifications or experience in ITIL, site reliability engineering, cloud platforms, integration platforms, or regulated environments are a plus.
