Remuneration: $36.56 - $40.93 /hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging

Your part in our St Andrews War Memorial Hospital team
As part of our Endoscopy Unit, you will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to patients and their families, applying evidence-based clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional person-centred care and support a range of gastroenterology procedures.
In this role, you will utilise your procedural room skills as both a Scrub (First in Room) and Scout (Second in Room) nurse, supporting gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety and service excellence.
What makes a difference for us?
Minimum 12 months' experience in an acute hospital and/or theatre setting, ideally within Endoscopy
Demonstrated skills working in procedural rooms as both Scrub (First in Room) and Scout (Second in Room) roles
Experience supporting gastroenterology procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, highly desirable
Scope reprocessing skills advantageous but not essential
Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
Australian Working Rights (we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position)
Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and best-practice care
A passion for ongoing professional development
Ability to work a flexible rotating roster
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
