What you’ll do

The Enterprise Technology & Operations (ETO) organization embodies the hub of lifecycle engineering at TJX, delivering, maintaining, and optimizing our technology portfolio at cloud scale. We are a service-oriented team aimed at providing extraordinary experiences to thousands of TJX associates, business partners, and application delivery teams across the portfolio.

As a Tech Ops Engineer II within our End User Services (EUS) team you will be responsible for driving operational excellence through automation, digital enablement, and continuous service improvement initiatives across TJX. This role will be critical in accelerating AI adoption, enhancing the digital employee experience, and delivering scalable technology solutions that improve efficiency, self-service capabilities, and service maturity, while applying strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure successful delivery of technology and service improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidate Persona:​ We're looking for a technology professional with 2+ years of experience in Automation, API Integrations, Chatbots/AI solutions, and Digital Employee Experience (DEX) initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems through automation, data-driven insights, self-service technologies, and tools such as Nexthink, while partnering closely with stakeholders to continuously improve the end-user experience and operational efficiency.

What you’ll need

We seek creative, customer-focused individuals with a foundational knowledge and interest in IT and a mindset for continuous improvement.  We rethink how software and infrastructure are delivered at cloud scale, and work closely with other teams to improve key services.

Responsibilities:

• Drive automation, digital enablement and service improvement initiatives across End User Services

• Implement solutions that improve operational efficiency, self-service adoption, and the overall TJX Associate technology experience

• Support the delivery and expansion of AI-powered capabilities, including chatbots and virtual assistants

• Develop integrations and automation solutions using APIs and modern technology platforms

• Analyze operational and service data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement

• Partner with Global IT and business teams to deliver strategic technology and service improvement initiatives

• Lead and support shift-left, knowledge management, and service optimization activities to enhance service maturity

• Apply stakeholder engagement, change management, and release planning practices to support successful project delivery

• Deliver measurable business and service outcomes through automation, innovation, continuous improvement, and strong technical execution

Required Qualifications:

• Strong automation and engineering mindset, with the ability to improve services through scalable and repeatable solutions

• Experience with API integrations, system integrations, and workflow automation

• Experience supporting or delivering AI, chatbot, virtual assistant, or digital enablement capabilities

• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills, with the ability to use service data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

• Experience driving service improvement initiatives, including self-service adoption, shift-left support, and knowledge management

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across global technical and business teams

• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and measurable service outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project delivery and change management experience

• Experience with ServiceNow, Power Platform, or Power BI

• Experience with Digital Employee Experience tools, preferably Nexthink

• ITIL, Agile, or SAFe knowledge
