Endpoint Configuration Specialist (Part-Time)- Please not this role will be approximately 20 hours a week.
Position Summary
This role is responsible for preparing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting the endpoint devices that power the firm's modern digital workplace. Working from the National Operations Center alongside experienced IT professionals, this role ensures employees receive secure, reliable, and properly configured technology while supporting endpoint deployment, hardware repairs, inventory management, asset lifecycle activities, and operational support across the firm's offices.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, provision, and prepare laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and other endpoint equipment for deployment.
- Stage, enroll, and manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Active Directory, and related endpoint management technologies.
- Perform quality assurance testing to ensure devices are properly configured, secure, fully functional, and ready for deployment.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, component replacement, upgrades, and device preparation for deployment, redeployment, or retirement.
- Package, ship, receive, and track endpoint equipment for employees and offices nationwide.
- Maintain accurate hardware inventory, asset records, warranty information, and lifecycle documentation.
- Manage endpoint-related incidents, service requests, tasks, and asset records within ServiceNow.
- Assist with hardware refresh projects, office technology deployments, inventory audits, and equipment reclamation initiatives.
- Travel occasionally to firm offices to assist with endpoint deployments, hardware refreshes, and onsite support activities.
- Work alongside senior endpoint operations staff to learn enterprise deployment processes, endpoint management technologies, and IT operational best practices.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Service Desk, and other IT teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality technology experience for end users.
- Participate in occasional after-hours work to support hardware deployments, technology implementations, upgrades, and office projects as business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- Technical education, relevant coursework, certifications, hands-on experience, or a demonstrated passion for Information Technology.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and common peripherals.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic computer hardware and peripheral issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and grow within an enterprise IT environment.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment and shipping materials as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Active Directory, or similar endpoint management technologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or another IT service management platform.
- Experience building, repairing, upgrading, or troubleshooting computer hardware.
- Previous customer service, technical support, or technology-related experience.

For NY Metro area, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.00 hourly and $30.00 hourly. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. This role is part time and not eligible for benefits.
