SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Support Decorative segment on color scheme advice for customers, and upgrade and renovate showrooms’ interior layout, samples and color schemes in a fashion that makes showrooms more appealing to customers.This role will be based in Shah Alam and reporting to Colour Marketing & Communication Manager.
Responsibilities:
Prepare colour-scheme proposals, visualisations and paint-system recommendations for architects, consultants, specifiers, dealers and customers.
Develop showroom layouts, colour concepts and renovation proposals that enhance customer experience and reflect Jotun’s brand standards.
Conduct showroom and project-site visits to assess requirements and oversee the implementation of approved designs.
Coordinate with Sales Executives, dealers, applicators and project stakeholders on colour applications, adjustments and project delivery.
Conduct colour training, seminars and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Oversee and continuously improve Colour Studio’s SharePoint platform, sales submission forms and digital workflows.
Liaise with IT to define requirements, test and improve the Colour Studio dashboard and other supporting systems.
Monitor data quality, project status, workload and reporting through the Colour Studio dashboard.
Support the testing and implementation of the AI Colour Library and AI-generated colour proposals.
Explore new AI, automation and digital-visualisation opportunities that can improve Colour Studio’s efficiency and service quality.
Provide user guidance and encourage adoption of new systems and processes across Colour Studio and Sales teams.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design, Design Technology or a related field.
Proficiency in relevant design and visualisation software (Autocad)
Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Power BI, Power Apps or similar digital tools is an advantage.
Experience in AI-powered design, automation and digital workflow improvement.
Experience in colour consultation, interior design, showroom design or architectural visualisation.
Strong understanding of colour theory, materials, lighting and spatial design.
Strong analytical, project-coordination, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Able to work independently and travel to showrooms or project sites when required.
