  • Synchronize assessment activities with operational planning cycles, command battle rhythms, review boards, working groups, and joint exercises.
  • Coordinate technical exchanges and collaborate with Combatant Command directorates, Service Component Commands, the Joint Staff, interagency partners, and external analytical organizations.
  • Represent the JAWA Team at operational planning teams, technical interchange meetings, coordination conferences, and assessment forums.
  • Prepare and review assessment reports, executive summaries, information papers, decision briefs, read-aheads, and after-action reports.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into concise recommendations and operational risk assessments for general and flag officers, Senior Executive Service leaders, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain action-item trackers and provide required status reports, assessment products, lessons learned, and transition documentation.

Required Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active TS/SCI clearance.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience integrating operational, intelligence, logistics, and technical data into analytical models or decision-support products.
  • Strong data analysis, visualization, synthesis, and reporting skills.

  • Knowledge of operational planning cycles, command battle rhythms, joint exercises, working groups, and technical interchange processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level reports and briefings.
  • Ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior military and civilian leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience supporting U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, a Combatant Command, Service Component Command, Joint Staff, or comparable joint or interagency organization.
  • Experience supporting warfighter experimentation, joint exercises, capability demonstrations, or theater campaign assessment.
  • Familiarity with campaign plans, operational plans, Concepts of Operations, Standard Operating Procedures, and operational assessment frameworks.
  • Experience preparing decision briefs for general and flag officers or Senior Executive Service leaders.
  • Experience facilitating operational planning teams, executive working groups, technical interchange meetings, or assessment forums.
  • Experience developing after-action reports, lessons-learned products, transition documentation, or methodology handoff materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data visualization tools, analytical dashboards, and command information repositories.
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program or Alternative Compensatory Control Measures information, if required.
