What You Will Be Doing:

Reporting directly to the Consulting Director for Benelux, your role will encompass:
- Leading Client Projects: Bring together consulting, technology and AI talent to deliver strategic, sustainable solutions. Get the best out of your team by matching their strengths to the right (international) projects, and hold yourself accountable for the quality and business impact of what gets delivered.
- Project Management: Oversee one or more workstreams / projects, ensuring mission delivery. Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and manage documentation, budget, capacity, planning, and reporting. Produce mission deliverables and create presentations, case studies, and impactful slides.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients. Demonstrate confidence in networking situations, bring a point of view and spot new l business opportunities and support and pitches and proposals.
- Business Development: Take ownership of growing the business alongside delivering for clients — spotting opportunities, shaping proposals, and taking initiatives that contribute to Artefact's growth.
- Coaching & People Development: Mentor and coach consultants on your team, give regular feedback, and actively shape their growth path. Developing your people is as much a measure of your success as your project outcomes.
- Internal Impact: Support and develop areas of expertise (strategy, data governance, data marketing, etc.), ensuring knowledge sharing within the Consulting department. Participate in external events, create Artefact content, and contribute to the recruitment process by interviewing candidates and onboarding new arrivals.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: You have demonstrated success in your first 5+ years working in the field of data and AI, which at least 2+ years within consulting firm
- Curiosity for Tech & AI: You're genuinely curious about how technology, data and AI reshape business. You don't need to be an expert in all three — you're eager to learn, experiment, and go deep where it matters.
Business Impact Mindset: You connect technical possibility to business value, and hold a high bar for quality of delivery.
- Engineering Mindset: You appreciate how things are built under the hood and enjoy partnering closely with engineers and technologists, even if you're not one yourself.
- Analytical & Technical Mindset: You love data and believe decisions should be driven by facts — backed by real technical aptitude across concepts like data governance, MLOps, GenAI, cloud strategy, and FinOps.
- Ownership & Entrepreneurial Drive: You take ownership like a founder would — proactive, accountable, and comfortable building something new rather than just executing a plan. A can-do mentality is second nature to you.
- People Development: You enjoy coaching others and see growing your team as core to your own success.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, any other language is considered a plus.
- Personal Attributes: You are curious, hands-on and passionate about solving ambiguous technological problems with a can-do attitude.
