Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, continuously improving software performance and adapting solutions to meet evolving business requirements. Collaboration and problem-solving are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that the software aligns with organizational goals and user expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Employee Central and related modules.
2. 4–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central configuration and implementation.
3. Configure and maintain Employee Central components including foundation objects, business rules, workflows, and event reasons.
4. Resolve incidents and service requests related to Employee Central configurations and data issues.
5. Strong understanding of foundation objects, associations, workflows, business rules, and effective dating concepts.
6. Familiarity with MDF objects, custom fields, picklists, and role-based permissions (RBP).
7. Good understanding of data models, XML configuration, and system provisioning (nice to have).
8. Manage mass data uploads using SuccessFactors import tools and templates, ensuring data integrity, validation and successful data updates.
9. Support the generation and maintenance of standard and custom reports using Report Center, Advanced Reporting, Story reports and Canvas Reports.
10. Participate in regular release management cycles, analyze new features, and propose relevant adoption to business.

1. Excellent communication and documentation skills ability to interact effectively with business and technical teams.
2. Capable of working independently and managing deliverables with minimal supervision.
3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service orientation.
4. Experience working in a global delivery model and handling multiple stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
