Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Community Planner to join our team providing technical support to the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron (341 CES) on-site at Malmstrom, AFB, Montana.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead others in studies, designs, record and manage the processes and documentation, and negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations, where proposals involve substantial resources and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures
- Safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating throughout the missile field on both paved and gravel roads

Key Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance is required
- Knowledge:
- Professional knowledge of engineering/planning concepts, standards, methods, and techniques to effectively apply theories, principles, and concepts to installation community planning. technical competency in installation development planning, comprehensive planning, compatible use planning, and asset management
- Professional knowledge of community planning concepts, regulations, and methods, gather, assemble, and analyze facts; draw conclusions; devise solutions to complex planning problems that require interpretation or extension of policy guides and substantial modification of techniques and procedures.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Software: Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to solve problems and function as a member of a team.
Experience & Education
- Experience: Required: Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience.
- Education: Minimum of high-school diploma required.
