We are looking for a Chef de Partie, Pastry to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will oversee the preparation and production of high-quality pastry and bakery products, ensuring consistency, creativity and exceptional presentation while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all preparation, production, dishes and specialized menus are completed on time and in accordance with the standards of the Executive Chef.
• Maintain consistent taste and presentation in line with the identity of the menu, contributing to the reputation of the outlet under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Allocate tasks to junior team members, monitor their working methods and coordinate with senior staff to support training and the improvement of techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment throughout each shift, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and reporting any issues promptly.
• Ensure that food handling, from storage through to service, complies with applicable legislation and Food Safety, HACCP and DIVERSEY standards.
• Check that all products received meet the required quality standards and report any deviations, while seeking guidance on issues relating to food, equipment, staff or stock.
• Actively contribute to food service and ensure guests’ needs are met, while carrying out any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-standard restaurant, hotel or cruise ship.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong knowledge of production, preparation and presentation standards within the relevant area of expertise.
• Good understanding of hygiene requirements in accordance with applicable legislation and international standards.
