The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Catering Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of exceptional catering experiences. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong client relationships, and is committed to delivering memorable events with flawless execution. The Catering Manager will play a key role in driving catering revenue, ensuring operational excellence, and creating outstanding guest experiences that reflect our commitment to quality and service.

What You'll Do

• Manage the full catering lifecycle, from initial client inquiries and event planning to execution and post-event follow-up.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for catering events.
• Collaborate with culinary, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop event proposals, menus, contracts, and pricing while ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
• Coordinate logistics including staffing, equipment, room set-up, timelines, and vendor partnerships.
• Monitor catering budgets, revenue targets, and profitability metrics.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop catering team members, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to grow catering sales and enhance client satisfaction through innovative offerings and service excellence.
• Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience and long-term relationship.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, event management, food service, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong client-facing skills with a customer-first mindset and a track record of building lasting relationships.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and catering sales activities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team supervision, coaching, and staff development.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and hospitality best practices.
• Proficiency with catering, event management, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, based on business needs.
• Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $80,000 Annually
