Opportunity for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist with Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono (formerly Pocono Medical Center) is a full-service, short-term acute care hospital in East Stroudsburg, PA. The voluntary nonprofit is a member of the Lehigh Valley Health Network and was the first community hospital in Pennsylvania to receive full accreditation from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP). Total Rewards
Salary: $525K annually
Cardiac Stipend: $50K

Case Assignments & Schedule
• Schedule: 7am-3pm Supervision: 2-3: 1, opportunity for own cases, but not mandatory. Call - Negotiable, but preferred.12 Rooms. EPIC, including intra-op.3 months to Privilege.
• Cardiac, Endo, general surgery, ortho, and more

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine 
• TEE proficiency is required 
• Completion of Cardiac Fellowship 
• ECFMG and FLEX 
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia 
• Currently licensed as a physician
