Campus Recruitment & HR Specialist, Amsterdam

As an Campus Recruitment & HR Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering Maven's early careers strategy across the Netherlands and Europe while owning the onboarding experience for the Amsterdam office. Maven's Emerging Talent Team is responsible for the attraction, selection and development of our intern and graduate programmes across our Amsterdam, London, and Chicago offices. Our vision is to support everyone to reach their potential. 

Our Core HR team partners closely with the business to ensure every new joiner has a smooth and welcoming start, and that employees are well supported throughout their time at Maven.

This is a predominantly Emerging Talent role, overseeing our Amsterdam intern and graduate programmes while contributing to wider People initiatives that support employee experience.

What you’re going to do

Emerging Talent:

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with target universities, student societies, and external partners across the Netherlands and Europe, working closely with colleagues to attract exceptional early careers talent
• Partner with the Emerging Talent team and hiring managers to to deliver the recruitment process for Intern and Graduate programmes, including attraction, selection, offer management, and candidate engagement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously review and improve recruitment processes, using data, market insights and stakeholder feedback to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with business needs
• Plan and deliver campus events, careers fairs and employer branding initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to strengthen Maven’s brand presence
• Work closely with hiring managers, the Head of Emerging Talent and the Emerging Talent Lead to deliver Maven’s early careers talent strategy 
• Track, analyse and communicate recruitment metrics, pipeline performance and the return on investment of attraction initiatives, making recommendations to improve decision-making across the team
• Plan the delivery of graduate and intern training programmes, ensuring assessment metrics, support mechanisms, and growth opportunities are in place 

HR / People: 

• Partner with the Emerging Talent/Talent Acquisition team, Core HR  and Operations Manager to create a market-leading onboarding experience for all candidates within the Amsterdam region
• Own the local visa process, including renewals and new applications, ensuring compliance with Dutch immigration requirements
• Support new hire onboarding logistics for the Amsterdam office — contracts, documentation, inductions, and coordination with IT/facilities
• Act as a local point of contact for employee queries on HR policies and Dutch employment practices, escalating where needed

What we’re looking for

• Expertise in recruiting and developing early careers talent, including interns and graduates
• Exposure to HR responsibilities, or a genuine interest in developing broader HR experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge at all levels
• Ability to act as a compelling and energetic ambassador for Maven, bringing our culture, career opportunities and employee proposition to life and inspiring prospective candidates to join us
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A data-driven approach, using insights and metrics to inform decisions and measure success
• Enthusiasm for employer branding and representing Maven at universities, networking events and on campus
• A genuine interest in exploring and applying AI tools to automate processes, identify efficiencies, and improve ways of working
• Thorough knowledge of the Netherlands talent market is crucial, ideally within Emerging Talent in a similar high-performing environment
• Fluency in English is required; Dutch language skills are an advantage
