Your Team

Compliance Surveillance is a sub function of Global Compliance team. Compliance Surveillance undertakes investigation of trade surveillance, trade monitoring, Best -execution monitoring, cross trade monitoring and other Surveillance activities to identify any irregularities by examining data and helps find trends and draw conclusions about the information.

Your Role

• Understand Trade Surveillance & conduct review of Market Abuse alerts in surveillance tool on daily basis

• Get trained in investigating any irregularities & abnormal activities in daily trading and escalate potential violations to relevant regional teams

• Get trained in monitoring activities such as Best Execution and Fair Allocation.

• Get hands-on experience with Order Management Systems including CRD, Aladdin, and Bloomberg, including data extraction and analysis

• Prepare documentation to support reviews conducted and to substantiate/demonstrate adequate processes/controls to meet applicable regulatory requirements

• Assist in delivery of compliance related projects and initiatives including ad-hoc requirements.

• Conduct research on daily tasks to identify opportunities for automation including analytical workflows to improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with team members and management to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of surveillance and compliance processes.

The Experience You Bring

• Good Knowledge of Financial Products and Mutual fund industry
• Understanding of trading principles and fundamentals
• Good analyzing skills and superb attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with a network of colleagues spread across different time zones
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Open to flexible working hours

Academic requirements

• Master’s degree in finance
• No current backlogs
• 60% or equivalent CGPA/CQPI throughout 10th, 12th or Diploma, UG course
