Sobre este puesto de Business Enablement Manager en Payjoy
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute partner growth strategies by designing joint business plans with each retail and telecom account — mapping expansion levers, setting shared KPIs, and leading structured review cycles — in order to systematically move every partnership toward its full revenue potential.
Own senior-level partner relationships by serving as PayJoy's primary commercial contact for key accounts, leading executive QBRs and maintaining a deep understanding of each partner's business priorities — so that PayJoy is seen as a strategic growth partner, not a vendor.
Drive same-store origination growth by identifying and removing the operational, training, and product gaps that limit partner performance, coordinating cross-functional execution across Product, Marketing, and Operations — to ensure each active location consistently delivers at its highest potential.
Expand the commercial footprint within existing accounts by building the business case for new store formats, product lines, and geographic rollout within current partner networks, and leading internal alignment to execute — to maximize wallet share without relying on new partnership acquisition.
Manage partnership performance through data and analytics by building and maintaining scorecards, origination trackers, and executive dashboards that surface the health of each account — so that leadership can make timely, informed decisions on where to invest and where to intervene.
Protect PayJoy's competitive position in the channel by monitoring competitor activity at key accounts, anticipating risks to partner loyalty, and proactively designing retention strategies — to ensure PayJoy remains the preferred and most profitable partner in every account it operates.
Qualifications
Experience. 3–5 years in Client Experience, Client Success, Commercial Development, Strategic client facing PMO, Business Development within retail, telecom, or fintech — with a demonstrated track record of growing existing partnerships and expanding revenue within established accounts and cross-functional work.
Education. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Industrial Engineering. Preference for graduates of ITAM, Ibero, Tec de Monterrey, or UNAM.
Relevant Industry Background (a plus). Prior experience at organizations such as Coppel, Elektra, Liverpool, OXXO, Soriana, Casa Ley, Waldo's, or First Cash (retail/channel); Stori, Nu, Kueski, Aplazo, Creditas, Konfio, or Clip (fintech/lending); or Telcel, AT&T Mexico, Samsung, Xiaomi, Uber, Rappi, or Mercado Libre (tech/telecom). Existing executive relationships at major chains or carriers will accelerate impact from day one.
Account growth orientation. You are energized by deepening partnerships, not just initiating them. You think in terms of lifetime value, strategic positioning, and what it takes to become indispensable to a partner's commercial agenda — and you have the results to back it up.
Data-driven commercial strategy. Fluent in building performance frameworks, financial models, and executive analytics. You use data to form a point of view, not just to report status — and you communicate that view with precision and confidence to partner executives and internal leadership alike.
Executive communication. Bilingual (Spanish and English) with strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable representing PayJoy at senior partner meetings, internal leadership forums, and board-level reviews.
Autonomous leadership in high-growth environments. You set direction without a full playbook, drive cross-functional outcomes with authority, and own results end-to-end. You are just as effective navigating ambiguity as executing a clear plan.
Mexico market knowledge. Deep familiarity with Mexico's retail and/or telecom landscape. Understanding of channel economics, carrier dynamics, and consumer credit behavior accelerates your strategic contribution from the start.
