The UAT Analyst is responsible for validating that software applications, systems, and technology solutions meet business requirements and function as intended before deployment to production. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that end-user needs are accurately reflected in the final product within Wealth Management.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories

  • Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with business stakeholders and end users

  • Log, track, and manage defects through resolution using defect tracking tools

  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to project stakeholders and leadership

  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams throughout the testing lifecycle

  • Maintain test documentation including execution logs, results, and sign-off artifacts

  • Participate in requirements reviews to provide early input on testability and potential gaps

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in UAT or functional testing within an SDLC environment
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into executable test scenarios
  • Proficiency with defect and test management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in financial services or retirement services industry
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Basic SQL skills for data validation and verification
  • Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks
  • ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification
  • Background in business analysis or subject matter expertise
