As Associate Director, Domestic Marketing, you will lead innovative marketing strategies that elevate Sony Music's domestic artist roster and drive audience growth across streaming, social, and digital platforms.
Working at the intersection of music, culture, technology, and commerce, you will shape breakthrough campaigns, develop strategic partnerships, and create impactful fan experiences that accelerate artist success across the Middle East.
What you'll do:
• Develop and execute full-scope integrated marketing campaigns for domestic artists, maximizing reach, engagement, and commercial performance across streaming and digital platforms.
• Lead social media, content development, digital advertising, streaming marketing, and CRM initiatives for assigned artists and projects.
• Build comprehensive campaign timelines, content strategies, and activation plans aligned with artist and business objectives.
• Deliver innovative and culturally relevant marketing ideas that resonate with fans and strengthen artist brands.
• Ability to work with data and utilize it in the decision making.
• Build artist strategy and brand for emerging artists.
Artist & Stakeholder Management
• Partner closely with artist managers and key stakeholders including touring teams, publicists, promoters, and brand partners to ensure campaign success.
• Collaborate with internal teams across A&R, Commercial, Sales, Creative Services, Finance, and Operations to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
• Secure artist and partner buy-in for marketing initiatives and oversee flawless execution across all touchpoints.
Partnerships & Business Development
• Develop strategic partnerships with digital service providers (DSPs), brands, media agencies, and other key partners to expand audience reach and unlock new opportunities.
• Support commercial initiatives and identify innovative opportunities that generate incremental revenue and drive artist visibility.
• Maintain strong relationships with key promotional partners and collaborate on exclusive campaigns, content, and events.
Analytics & Performance
• Monitor streaming, audience, and campaign performance across platforms to identify trends and optimize marketing effectiveness.
• Conduct post-campaign analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and commercial impact.
• Manage campaign budgets effectively while ensuring objectives and ROI targets are achieved.
Innovation & Market Intelligence
• Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, technologies, fan behaviors, and platform developments across the Middle East and global music landscape.
• Translate market insights into innovative marketing opportunities that enhance audience engagement and artist growth.
Who you are:
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive audience growth and commercial results.
• Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, streaming ecosystems, consumer behavior, and campaign analytics.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build partnerships, identify business opportunities, and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with experience working across diverse cultures and teams.
• Well-versed in social media platforms and digital ecosystems across the Middle East and international markets.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
