Key Responsibilities

• Project Management Support

• • Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing project activities.

  • Support the management of hydropower projects from inception to completion.

  • Track project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation measures.

• Coordination & Communication

• • Coordinate tasks and deliverables across internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Control project inputs and outputs, document requests for information and query registers.

  • Liaise with local and international clients, contractors, and consultants, providing regular updates and reports.

  • Organize and participate in project meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.

• Documentation & Reporting

• • Prepare project management documentation, including team organisation charts, progress reports, risk registers, and cost tracking.

  • Undertake internal project monthly reviews and project planning.

  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and technical submissions for new opportunities.

• Business Development Support

• • Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and assist in proposal development whilst complying with internal governance procedures.

  • Support marketing and client engagement activities as required.

• Technical Contribution

• • Apply engineering knowledge to support design reviews and technical assessments.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Support quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: 

• • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Experience:

• • Minimum 7 years of experience in design and project management, preferably in hydropower or dam projects.

  • Proven experience in multidisciplinary project environments.

• Technical Skills:

• • Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling techniques.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.

  • Ability with Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

• Soft Skills:

• • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

• Language Skills:

• • Fluent in English.
