Job Title:

Americas Compensation, Global Recognition & Mobility Program Leader

Summary:

This highly visible and exciting role is responsible for the implementation of all global compensation programs within the Americas region. This individual will also be accountable for recommending unique alternatives that may be required within the region to align to market practices. He/she will serve as a consultant to the HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on compensation-related matters.

The regional Compensation Leader will co-lead & participate in the research, analysis, development, and management of key global compensation programs such as base pay administration, including job evaluation and market pricing, variable compensation, and international assignments.

This regional Compensation Leader role will also assist with the automation of key global compensation processes into our ERP, acting as a liaison with the HR Services Team as well as providing key support for various Executive Compensation analyses and creation of Compensation Committee Materials for key global processes.

This Leader also has accountability for some key Global processes. These processes include all aspects of Global Mobility, focused primarily on movements to and from the United States to other countries, and Global Rewards and Recognition Programs offered to all employees.

Responsibilities Include:

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience designing and managing base and variable programs in a global manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on regional leadership role, expected to provide key input to regional strategic decisions; thus, strong analytic abilities and financial modeling capabilities are a must.

Americas Compensation:

• Provide Compensation consultation and service delivery to the VP of Global Total Rewards and Regional Leadership within the Americas region.

• Assist in the development and regional implementation of programs that align with the strategic objectives and growth of Momentive

• Provide guidance and support for major short- and long-term Compensation programs - salary planning, annual incentive program

• Conduct competitive benchmarking and survey analysis and formulate recommendations on compensation programs

• Develop strategies to address critical skill attraction and retention issues in dynamic and challenging external markets

• Collaborate with and provide innovative solutions to senior business leaders that address strategies and concerns specific to each of their organizations

• Lead Executive Compensation Salary Surveys, analytical analysis, and partner with VP Total Rewards for recommended approaches.

• Provide support in the creation of Compensation Committee Materials

• Research strategy and tactical compensation issues and proactively recommend new initiatives and updates to existing programs & philosophy

• Lead and drive continuous improvement, best practices, and collaboration with other HR and business leaders

Global Mobility:

• Lead relationships with relocation management company, immigration counsel, and tax providers.

• Oversee end-to-end employee mobility experiences, including international assignments, domestic relocations, family support, and repatriation.

• Provide mobility cost estimates and risk assessments for contemplated relocations.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, HR partners, finance, legal, and payroll teams.

• Facilitate appropriate income tax and immigration compliance activities to ensure adherence to all laws and regulations.

• Track mobility metrics and program spending for senior leadership. 

• Lead the planning and coordination of the annual tax filing and tax equalization process for Korean business travelers, partnering with external tax advisors, payroll, finance, and mobility stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and an effective employee experience.

Global Rewards and Recognition:

• Lead vendor relationship, including all aspects of program management, budgeting, and annual required program updates

• Oversee day-to-day utilization of the program, including program approval processes and spending analysis

• Serve as a consultant to HR Business Partners and leaders on recognition best practices

Travel: <10%

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

• 7+ years' experience in Human Resources, including 5+ years in a Compensation & Benefits role
• Prior experience interfacing and working within a Global organization
• Bachelor’s degree
• High degree of analytical skills and results-oriented behavior;
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills;
• The ability to flawlessly execute against competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment;
• Proven experience and success shaping and influencing Senior Leadership levels within an organization
• The ability to develop innovative and unique attraction and retention strategies
• Extensive knowledge and experience with HR technology tools, applications, and platforms
• Demonstrated ability to hold self and others accountable

The following are preferred for the role:

• A graduate degree
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
• Exposure to international compensation practices.
• Demonstrated experience working with collective labor groups
• Experience in working with US Immigration processes

What We Offer:

Base Pay Range: $106,500 - $156,200

The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
