About the role 
You will join our Labuan office as part of a lean, hands-on team supporting Polisea Labuan, which evaluates standard and non-standard risks and develops coverage solutions for our clients.

As Admin Operations, you will be the go-to support for all things Labuan, handling day-to-day office and operational administration as and when required, while also providing administrative support to our Underwriting and Claims teams. You will be working with a great bunch of energetic people in building and offering InsurTech solutions across South East Asia.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-the-ground point of contact for all Labuan matters, supporting the team as and when required
• Provide administrative support to the Underwriting and Claims teams as and when required, including preparing and issuing documents, updating systems and registers, filing records, and following up with cedents, brokers and partners on outstanding items
• Manage day-to-day office administration, including mail and courier, filing and records, office supplies, petty cash, and liaison with building management and vendors
• Assist with Labuan regulatory and corporate submissions, document filings and correspondence with Labuan FSA, the Labuan trust company and other local parties, under the guidance of the team
• Handle physical documentation such as printing, stamping, certified true copies, signatures and courier dispatch
• Maintain organised hard copy and digital records in line with internal guidelines

Requirements

• Must be residing permanently in Labuan
• Minimum SPM, Diploma or equivalent in any field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior administrative experience, ideally in an insurance, reinsurance or financial services company, is an advantage
• Basic understanding of insurance is a plus; on-the-job training will be provided
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Organised, reliable and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task
• Willing to support across teams as and when required
