What will you work on?
As the Account Manager, you serve as the primary strategic partner for your assigned retail accounts. You will own the entire customer relationship lifecycle—driving profitability, negotiating key contracts, and aligning client needs with Spin Master's business goals. Reporting directly to the Director, Sales – Canada, this role requires a proactive, collaborative professional ready to maximize brand performance.

How will you create impact?

• Strategic Growth & Planning: Design annual business plans and innovative, marketing-led strategies that maximize volume, revenue, and gross margins while minimizing business risk.
• Sales & Execution: Deliver timely business proposals, product presentations, and ad plans; coordinate trade marketing to hit distribution, volume, and profit targets.
• Data & Forecasting: Partner with planning and support teams to generate accurate forecasts, track sell-through data, manage budgets, and maintain Salesforce records.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide fast, solution-oriented customer service, collaborate with team members, and foster a supportive team culture.
• Key Performance Metrics: Top-line and brand-specific revenue growth, year-over-year business expansion, budget adherence and target delivery

What are your skills and experience?

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of account management experience, ideally within the toy industry or managing a national/toy retailer portfolio.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, organization, and high-level negotiation skills.
• Technical Literacy: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Salesforce and POS data analysis.
• Mindset: A client-focused "go-getter" with high self-motivation, flexibility regarding assigned accounts, and a readiness to travel as needed.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $72,400 to $96,500 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
