Position Summary
The Account Executive role supports Account Management and Sales efforts for SaaS clients in corporate & legal compliance, AML/KYC and financial services markets. This role helps maintain client dashboards, usage metrics, presentations, renewal tracking, and client communications. Working closely with Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Delivery teams, the Account Executive provides timely support, coordinates internal resources, assists with pre- and post-sales activities, and helps drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support Account Management and Sales with client demos, account notes, platform usage data, reporting, and other activities that support client growth and upsell opportunities.
- Schedule and lead client follow-up meetings to review program health and status.
- Track client usage, maintain account inventories, and support timely billing for overages.
- Help resolve billing inquiries in partnership with Finance and Accounts teams.
- Support ongoing client accounts, including renewals, check-ins, solution changes, tailored proposals, and renewal documentation.
- Monitor client issues in Jira, identify trends, and escalate concerns that may affect service levels or client relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Implementation, Service Management, Technical Support, Product, and Finance teams, to ensure timely resolution and strong client satisfaction.
- Maintain strong knowledge of AMLRS technology platforms to support client training, adoption, best practices, and awareness of new releases.
- Partner with IT Product Managers to customize and calibrate AMLRS technologies for client needs.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure client research needs are clearly communicated and fulfilled.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Support special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.
- 3+ years of client care or account executive experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Technically savvy with solid data management and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; related certifications or references are preferred.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communicator, fluent in written and spoken English.
- Self-starter and quick learner with strong initiative and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot.
- Experience with social media or online advertising tools, including LinkedIn, Google Ads, or Google Analytics, is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise software, corporate compliance, third-party risk management, due diligence, or KYC/AML markets.
