About this Officer, Corporate Services role at Urban Renewal Authority
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- To support the setting, tracking, and reporting of corporate objectives, and monitor progress across multiple information sources
- To provide general administrative and logistic support in relation to secretariat services, corporate activities and inter-departmental matters
- To maintain up-to-date member records, monitor meeting attendance, and manage documentation and archiving systems
- To leverage technology and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to optimize work processes and enhance operational efficiency
- To support research and analyses on statutory frameworks or policies, and provide translation and proofreading support
- To assist in ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in Public Administration, Communications or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in corporate services and/or secretariat.
- Ability to effectively utilize mainstream AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) for optimizing processes, enhancing work efficiency and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in written English and Chinese
- Proficient in PC applications, including Chinese word processing, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
