We're hiring a Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team at a pivotal moment — we're actively integrating recent acquisitions, implementing a new Treasury Management System, and scaling our banking infrastructure across a rapidly growing international footprint supporting Lyft’s core, autonomous, and luxury offerings. This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one.

Reporting to the Head of Treasury, you'll support critical functional areas and workstreams including cash management, liquidity optimization, and SOX compliance, while getting exposure to strategic projects that shape how Treasury operates across the company. Responsibilities:

• Treasury Operations
  • Position cash daily for Lyft's parent and subsidiary entities across North America, optimizing liquidity at the bank account and legal entity level.
  • Support Lyft's global banking infrastructure: the master account repository, authorized signatory records, registration/regulatory documentation, and banking product subscriptions.
  • Execute and monitor electronic payment requests, trade settlements, and other cash movements critical to the business.
  • Support letters of credit — issuance, renewal, and cancellation - and maintain accurate records and track related expenses.
  • Contribute to the Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation and the subsequent process migration, including process design, parallel testing, and SOP documentation.
  • Act as a liaison to internal and external partners, responding to inquiries and resolving ad hoc issues.
• Additional Responsibilities
  • Help identify and build AI-assisted automation for repetitive Treasury tasks, driving operational efficiency across the team.
  • Ensure adherence to Treasury policies, protocols, and internal controls to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Support internal SOX and external audit requests related to Treasury processes and controls.
  • Support M&A due diligence and post M&A integration workstreams.
  • Participate in other ad hoc projects as Treasury's priorities evolve.

Experience: 

• BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Corporate Treasury or a related financial function. 
• Familiarity with online banking platforms, payment methods, and common corporate banking products and services.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong work ethic, high accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Preferred:
  • Experience working for a multinational, publicly traded company.
  • Experience using a Treasury Management System (e.g. Kyriba, FIS, GTreasury).
  • Experience designing and building financial models from scratch.
  • Experience using AI assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to improve results and process efficiency.
  • Familiarity with payment service providers, merchant processors, or gateways.
  • Project management experience and skills.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings or evenings to support European time zones and critical deadlines.

The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $84,000 - CAD $105,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
