About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Content Writer to join our Content team and own content for our AI-first platform. This is a build-from-the-ground-up opportunity: redefining how our users interact with AI-driven planning and analytics, and the content you create will shape how customers understand, trust, and adopt AI-native workflows — from conversational interfaces to autonomous agents and AI-generated insights.

This role sits at the intersection of product, design, and engineering. You'll work in tight loops with Product Managers to understand what's shipping and why, with UX to make sure in-product language is clear and consistent, and with Engineers to accurately document how the AI capabilities actually work under the hood. You'll also be expected to work at AI-native speed: using Claude and other AI tools as a core part of your own workflow to draft, iterate, and scale content quality — while applying your subject-matter judgment, editorial standards, and domain expertise to everything that ships.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants to help define what great content looks like for an AI-first product, not just document features after the fact.

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end content for AI-Platform, including in-product AI guidance (prompts, suggested actions, agent explanations), onboarding flows, release notes, and help documentation

- Partner closely with PMs to get early visibility into the roadmap and translate new AI capabilities into clear, accurate, user-facing content

- Collaborate with UX/Product Design on UI text, conversational flows, empty states, and error messaging for AI-driven interactions, ensuring tone and terminology stay consistent as the product evolves

- Work directly with Engineering to understand model behavior, limitations, and system design well enough to write content that's technically accurate — including how AI outputs are generated, their confidence/limitations, and any human-in-the-loop steps

- Use Claude and other AI writing tools as a primary part of your workflow to draft, restructure, and scale content, while maintaining rigorous human review for accuracy, tone, and domain correctness

- Develop and maintain a scalable content strategy for the AI-first platform, including reusable content patterns/templates for recurring AI features

- Produce release content for the monthly Agile release cycle (release notes, known issues, release highlights) 

- Continuously audit existing content against product changes, flagging where AI behavior updates require content updates

- Help define content guidelines/voice standards for writing about AI features (e.g., how to describe confidence levels, model limitations, and autonomous actions to users)

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-6 years of experience researching, writing, and editing content for a software application in an Agile environment

- Demonstrated experience writing content for AI/ML-powered features or products (conversational UI, generative AI outputs, recommendation/agent systems, etc.)

- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude or similar LLM-based tools) as part of a content production workflow — drafting, editing, summarizing, or repurposing content at scale

- Comfort working directly with Engineering to understand technical/AI system behavior well enough to write about it accurately

- Experience partnering with UX/Product Design on in-product copy and interaction content

- Experience with wiki-based, industry-standard documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Document360)

- Finance, EPM, multi-dimensional modeling, or planning software domain expertise is a strong plus

- Experience creating API documentation is a plus

- Experience with onboarding tools such as Pendo or WalkMe is a plus
