Your next career opportunity: 
In this fixed-term 12 month Senior Sustainability Strategy Officer role, you will drive the University’s Sustainability 2030 framework and reporting. You will partner with stakeholders across all campuses to embed sustainability in strategy, governance and communications. 

What you will deliver: 

• Manage end-to-end sustainability reporting, including the annual Sustainability Report and contributions to the University’s Annual Report. 

• Lead planning and delivery activities that support implementation of Sustainability 2030 and related sustainability initiatives. 

• Develop sustainability communications, presentations and collateral in partnership with University communications teams. 

• Provide governance support and stakeholder partnership management for key sustainability committees and University-wide workstreams. 

• Coordinate integration of emerging sustainability trends, regulatory requirements, such as ISSB/AASB and other standards, into reporting and governance processes. 
  

You may be a great fit if you: 

• Demonstrate strong experience in sustainability reporting, including knowledge of standards and regulatory requirements. 

• Deliver sustainability-related outcomes in complex organisations, managing multiple initiatives and priorities concurrently. 

• Apply advanced research, analytical and written skills to produce high-quality reports, strategies and briefing materials. 

• Engage diverse senior stakeholders with confidence, building collaborative relationships to progress sustainability initiatives. 

• Hold qualifications in a sustainability-related discipline, or bring equivalent relevant experience and training. 

• Use strong digital skills, including MS Office and AI tools, to manage projects and reporting workflows.
