Your next career opportunity  
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in graduate research strategy, policy and quality assurance across the University.

You will advise senior leaders, coordinate institution-wide initiatives and enhance the experience and outcomes of graduate researchers.

What you will deliver: 

• Lead and develop a high-performing professional team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and service-focused culture.

• Provide strategic advice on graduate research policy, regulation, quality assurance and sector developments to senior leaders.

• Design, implement and review graduate research strategies, policies and frameworks that support institutional objectives and compliance.

• Oversee quality assurance, program evaluation and continuous improvement of research training, supervision and researcher experience.

• Lead complex, cross-University projects and issues, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, risk management and timely resolution.

You may be a great fit if you: 

• Bring deep understanding of contemporary graduate research, supervision practice and higher education sector trends.

• Apply advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify trends and develop evidence-based recommendations.

• Possess significant experience managing complex programs or portfolios, including planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting.

• Provide high-level strategic advice, policy papers and executive briefings for senior governance and leadership audiences.

• Demonstrate proven success leading and developing professional teams through change, performance management and capability building.

• Hold a postgraduate qualification in higher education, education, public policy, research management or related discipline.
