Your next career opportunity 
In this postdoctoral role, you will drive pioneering research in data privacy, ML security and LLM safety. You will collaborate with leading cybersecurity experts while contributing to innovative teaching in the Master of Cybersecurity.

What you will deliver: 

• Lead and conduct independent research in data privacy, ML security and LLM safety projects.
• Develop research plans, manage timelines, analyse complex datasets and report findings through publications and presentations.
• Contribute to cybersecurity teaching, including lectures, tutorials, assessment and subject development for the Master of Cybersecurity.
• Support and mentor HDR students and junior researchers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing cybersecurity research culture.
• Engage with internal and external partners, present research outcomes and help identify future funding opportunities.

You may be a great fit if you: 

• Hold a PhD in Computer Science or related discipline with a strong cybersecurity research focus.
• Demonstrate a record of first-authored publications in leading cybersecurity venues such as CCS or S&P.
• Exhibit proven ability to design, conduct and document independent research with rigorous data analysis.
• Apply strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrate experience or strong interest in ML privacy, ML security, LLM safety or data privacy.
• Manage workloads independently, prioritising tasks and collaborating effectively with academic, administrative and industry stakeholders.
