The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving growth across Baker Hughes’ digital and reliability portfolio within the Mining & Metals sector in Australia. This includes selling Cordant APM, Bently Nevada hardware and software, reliability consulting and services.  You will work with major mining operators, EPCs, and partners to deliver asset performance, reliability, and digital transformation outcomes.

 As a Sales Specialist - Sales you will be responsible for:

• Proven success in enterprise B2B sales, ideally within software, industrial, reliability, or energy sectors.
• Experience selling into Mining & Metals or heavy industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi‑million‑dollar sales cycles.
• Strong background in consultative/value‑based selling methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Sandler).
• Experience working across cross‑functional technical and commercial teams.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline (preferred).
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to link technical solutions to business outcomes.
• Experience in enterprise B2B sales within mining, industrial technology, reliability, or digital solutions.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Strong consultative selling skills and ability to link technical solutions to business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to engage both technical teams and executives.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
