Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30Major Responsibilities:
OB Electronic Medical Record (Design)
1)Design computer charts that capture patient data and incorporate logical flow of patient information
2)Customize computer charts to all inpatient Family Birthing Center areas
3)Assist in the development, testing and implementation of system designs/functions
4)Initiate reveiw of user-orieted component with a user group and implement changes
OB Electronic Medical System Manager (Implementation/Managment)
2)Ensure successful implementation and maintenance of system
1)Support the initial orientation to system for all personal
3)Ensure proper functionig of the clinical information system and develop methods for monitoring system use
4)Develop/generate reports as requested
5)Act as a resource for patient care information system to all users
6)Assists in maintaing and retrieving of OB medical records
Perinatal Coordinator
2)Facilitates/assists OB nursing and Physician quality committees
3)Ensures and coordinates action plan from OB nursing quality
4)Actively serves/participates as a member of hospital performance improvment councils
5)Reviews the trending of data over time, comparing data to expected level
6)Serves as expert and mentor for associates on performance improvement tools/techniques, evidence based practice, and achieving and sustaing outcomes.
7)Ensure compliance with State, Perinatal Network,and Regulatory requirments.
1)Identifies, implements, and interprets use of systematic monitors to identify important problems and opportujnities to improve care, in collaboration with the OB leadership team
Licensure:
Nurse, Registered (RN)
Education/Experience Required:
BSN - 3 years labor and delivery experience
National Certification Corporation (NCC) - C-EFM
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Access and Excel Knowledge of perintal rules and regulations Ability to multitask Critical thinking skills Excellent Written and oral communication skills Labor and Delivery or high-risk antepartum nursing experience
