The Product Owner, F&GBS Technology & AI Solutions will connect functional priorities with technology and AI capabilities that simplify work, strengthen insights, and deliver meaningful business value.
What You Will Achieve
You will serve as the strategic technology partner and product owner for one or more assigned F&GBS domains. You will shape the product vision and roadmap, prioritize opportunities, translate business needs into clear outcomes and requirements, and guide solutions through delivery, adoption, value realization, and lifecycle management in partnership with Engineering and enterprise teams.
How You Will Achieve It
- Build a strong understanding of the assigned domain's strategy, processes, colleague and customer needs, pain points, risks, and value opportunities.
- Define and maintain a domain product vision, portfolio, and roadmap aligned with functional and F&GBS priorities.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize technology, data, automation, and AI opportunities based on value, feasibility, risk, dependencies, and capacity.
- Translate approved opportunities into clear business outcomes, requirements, acceptance criteria, and an actionable prioritized backlog.
- Act as the business product owner throughout discovery, design, build, test, deployment, adoption, and ongoing lifecycle management.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Digital, architecture, data, security, risk, and control teams to deliver solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Monitor adoption, product health, cost, risk, colleague experience, and value realization; use insights to drive continuous improvement and lifecycle decisions.
- Communicate roadmap choices, progress, dependencies, risks, and business impact to functional leaders and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for reuse and integration across domains and contribute relevant use cases to the F&GBS AI and innovation agenda.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, engineering, or a related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in product ownership, product management, business technology partnership, business analysis, digital transformation, or a comparable business-facing technology role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop product roadmaps, translate business needs into clear requirements, prioritize backlogs, and make value-based tradeoffs.
- Relevant business acumen in Finance, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Audit, Controllership, Global Business Services, or a comparable enterprise function.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, facilitation, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience partnering with engineering or technical delivery teams without direct ownership of those resources.
- Understanding of agile product practices, solution lifecycle management, adoption, and value realization.
- Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Nice-to-Have
- Advanced degree or relevant product, agile, process improvement, technology, data, or AI certification.
- Experience with AI, automation, analytics, workflow, or data products in Finance or GBS.
- Experience in a regulated, life sciences, healthcare, or similarly complex global organization.
- Experience supporting change management and adoption for new technology-enabled ways of working.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
