The Role

Your Role

Within our Network Services team at Kyndryl, you will be the go-to expert for providing top-of-the-line technical solutions throughout the entire solution lifecycle. You will design, implement, and maintain local and wide-area network solutions utilizing multiple platforms and protocols, ensuring our clients have robust, scalable network infrastructure to support their business needs.

What You Will Do

• Network Design & Implementation: Design and implement local and wide-area network solutions (including IP and VoIP) that address specific customer requirements, preparing them for deployment, go-live, and long-term maintenance.
• Technical Solutioning & PoC: Build proof-of-concept solutions using emerging networking technologies, conduct project planning, cost analysis, and review project requirements to ensure accurate execution.
• Troubleshooting & Vendor Management: Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate with vendors to install, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, and network controllers).
• Project Delivery: Execute multiple IT projects and manage deadlines independently, communicating technical requirements effectively across teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

• Years of Experience: 6+ years of experience focused on network support, configuration, and implementation (8 years of total relevant service).
• Core Networking: 6+ years of deep expertise in core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewall management.
• Architecture & Engineering: Proven background in networking and security architecture, as well as engineering support across local, regional, and global domains.
• Execution: Strong ability to independently manage multiple IT projects, deadlines, and technical deliverables.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Data Center Technologies: Hands-on experience with Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and modern data center architecture.
• Software-Defined Networking: Experience designing and implementing Software-Defined Networks (SDN) and large-scale complex environments.
• Advanced Protocols & Frameworks: Proficiency with advanced network protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC.
